License & Permit Bonds

Definition: Bonds required by state law, municipal or county ordinance or regulation to be filed prior to the granting of a license to engage in a particular business or a permit to exercise a particular privilege. These bonds provide payment to an Obligee for loss or damage resulting from violations by the licensee for the type of work being performed.

Examples: general contractors, electrician, plumber, wrecker service, house movers, sign erection/removal, excavation, superheavy/oversize permit, etc...

We have authority from our underwriters to issue these bonds in-house up to $25,000. Contact our office for application information and rates. Larger bonds will require underwriting and review of financial information.
